Do you think phone sex was the cause of him ditching our date?

I know these models in which i attend some events they throw they are also my friends on fb...one of their friends saw me on fb and added me as a friend. We start talking, he is actually a Publisher and Editor of a mainstream magazine and rolls with a lot of well known celebs but i genuinely liked him and was never star struck by celebs or into that groupie b.s..but i notice he have a lot of females flocking to him therefore I wouldn't be surprised if he is leary of females in general. Well I chat to him and he text me pictures of his home, wine collection and accidentally sends me a pic of a girl masturbating..he says it was an accident anyway! It was funny because I never asked him to show me pictures of his home, etc. I never hounded him too tough on fb neither like the others..well he calls me the other day we start to conversate and he asked if I ever fantasized about him I said no because I didn't he said that I am lying I was like no because I haven't seen him face to face..well he says he fantasized about me and how he is in the tub he said how he will hang up because he had to take care of himself if you get my drift but he keep lingering the convo..stupid me being human and giving in basically did phone sex with him..we suppose to went out last night but I never hear from him..My goodness what have I done..I didn't even have sex with the man and still got played..do u think if i never had phone sex with him that the date would've been in full effect or even if I never obliged to the phone sex he still would've played me..was this some type of test despite he was acting loose his damn self..I need advice, I'm sad 'cause I did like the man but his status didn't impress me because I deleted him off my fb without second thought!
